Stronghouse

Stronghouse is an EU Interreg project that is run in several countries with a focus on engaging and enabling sustainable changes and renovations for home and villa owners.

Spring is creating a service that will connect people who are looking to invest in green housing with financial institutions that offer green loans. The service complies with the EU taxonomy and with only a few clicks the potential client will be guided through the process sending out multiple applications at once. All data is stored and encrypted on a custom blockchain to ensure security. Relevant data may be used for statistic analytics of the impact and future possibilities of the Stronghouse project.

The service consists of three parts, an application for private borrowers, an application where bank officials will manage their administration and an application to enable craftsmen to authenticate renovations (yet to be developed).

Role

My main role included project leading my teams work while also conducting the UX research and design the service and the UX/UI of the applications.

The project was ongoing for over 1,5 years, during certain periods of time the team occasionally had limited resources. Being interested in and curious about frontend development, I also took the opportunity to work on the banking app and the project’s website.
